"Shine Light on Depression"
Event hosted by Koi Evanston’s Table 23 and Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club to benefit Erika’s Lighthouse: A beacon of hope for adolescent depression. Visit our booth on Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23, at the Evanston Fountain Square Artisan SummerFest.
Come and talk about how to Get Depression Out of the Dark. It is important that there is no shame in admitting depression. If you or someone you love is experiencing symptoms, do not wait to seek help. We have resources for you.
Make a donation to help support the work of Erika’s Lighthouse to empower young people through their teen depression awareness programs at Evanston Twonship Highschool and Evanston’s middle schools. When you give $10, $25 or $50, Koi Evanston’s Table 23 will give you a matching Koi Gift Certificate in appreciation for your support.
Koi Evanston’s Table 23 encourages its guests to give back to the community with small contributions that collectively make a big difference. Koi owner Sandy Chen likes to say “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
When guests phone ahead to request Table 23, they receive 10% off their meal and Koi donates 20% of their check to support community nonprofit organizations.
Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club is a vibrant group of neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who unite to take action to create lasting change – in Evanston and across the globe. They are people of action who use their passion, energy, and intelligence to make a difference through sustainable projects.
Erika’s Lighthouse relies on the support of individuals, business partners, and foundations to help combat adolescent depression. From the start, they have built a community full of hope and knowledge through their depression awareness team of compassionate educators, advocates, students, and partners.
