Calling all MahJong players young and older, men and women, playing beginners to skilled! Mahjong is easiest to learn as you play it—not by reading paragraphs of text!
The 2021 Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club's Taste of Evanston Fundraiser was an amazing event. Many members of you and the community bought tickets and/or donated their time to volunteer for the mission of service. We all enjoyed celebrating in person while supporting a good cause.
One of the Silent Auction items still has a few seats available for the KOI Mahjong event. This is a great opportunity to learn the game of Mahjong OR sharpen your skills. Sandy Chen of KOI has graciously volunteered to provide the food and event space, Luisa Jurado and team from Chicago Mahjong will be on hand to teach Filipino Mahjong -the easiest method to learn.

We can have up to 24 players (6 tables of 4) and keep the tables spread out in a room which normally holds 70 people. CDC Guidelines will be followed. Masks and immunizations are required. 100% of the proceeds go to Taste of Evanston beneficiaries and our club's local projects. Check out the 2021 beneficiaries at https://www.tasteofevanston.org .
